Inactivity

Hey, guys, I feel bad for not having put up a blog in so long, but I think most of us are too busy for any events anyway, aside from the fact that a lot of our first generation WordGirl fans are involved with other fandoms.

So as a result of inactivity, this group is going to lie dormant for a while. Don't worry, submissions will still be welcome and I'll go through them as they come. But even those have been slow, so I think it'd be a good idea to clarify that until further notice there will be no group activities or contests. I don't think there's anything that can be done to change the current state of being; it's no one's fault. Plus I'm kind of out of inspiration myself; I don't blame anyone else for feeling the same.

So unless I get a lot of people who would like to organize something (and I mean a lot- I'd need to be VERY convinced; I'm talking over ten people at the very least and it depends on whether they seem really serious or not), nothing will be going on for a while. Perhaps someday I will think up a revival project; we'll see. But for now through thick and thin I'd like to remain your friend/founder, even if the group is never as active as it once was. We may not be as involved, but we can still be connected!
